Pictured is a 300 ohm twin lead antenna connection! Common in older homes, particularly those built in the 70s, these outlets were meant to plug TV antennas into. The connection would carry up to a roof-mounted antenna. These types of plug-ins were mostly phased out when coaxial cable came along.
