Boerne Is a Finalist for Hallmark's Merriest Christmas Town — Here's How to Vote

Boerne just landed some serious holiday bragging rights: it's one of 25 finalists nationwide — and the only Texas town — in Hallmark Channel's 2026 Merriest Christmas Town contest. The winner doesn't just get the title. They get the chance to serve as the filming location for an actual Hallmark holiday movie.

Anyone who's spent a December on the Hill Country Mile knows why Boerne made the cut. Dickens on Main brings a full Victorian Christmas to downtown, complete with horse-drawn wagons and period costumes. The Weihnachts Parade, holiday markets, and thousands of twinkling lights along Main Street turn our little slice of the Hill Country into exactly the kind of small-town Christmas scene you'd expect to see in a movie — because it might actually become one.

How to Vote

Voting is open once per day, per person, through Friday, September 4. You'll need to verify your email address once for your votes to count — after that, it's one click a day.

After public voting closes, a panel of judges will score each finalist on community spirit, holiday traditions, neighborhood charm, and goodwill before naming the winner.
